Obtaining a Visa

Nationals of the EU with a valid ID card and don't need a visa for stays of up to 90 days for touristic purposes only. For stays over 90 days nationals should apply for a temporary residence permit one week before the 90 days expire.

Montenegro is generally a healthy country北京福彩官网 with few risks. Only bottled or purified water should be consumed, and food should be well prepared and well cooked. As for medical facilities, they are limited in Montenegro, and supplies are lacking. Medical insurance with evacuation cover is strongly recommended. There are some private clinics in Podgorica, which treat travelers, but payment in cash is expected. A reciprocal health agreement entitles visitors from the UK to free emergency treatment.
International credit and debit cards such as Visa, Mastercard, Diners Club and Maestro are accepted, but cash may be necessary for some payments. Some ATMs accept Visa or Mastercard, but few accept international debit cards.
